It seems like the tampering charges against the Vikings may be legit. Apparently Brett Favre used a Packers-issued cell phone to make multiple calls to head coach Brad Childress and to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. Kevin McHale and Glenn Taylor must be so happy that they are no longer the biggest professional sports idiots in town. (Oh, and Favre's not so bright either.)
I wonder how many draft picks we'll be giving up?

Vikings leadership isn't too bright, but how dumb is Brett Favre? You can get throwaway phones with minutes at Target! Yes, the calls would ultimately most likely be traced back, but he could have tried.

While this is achingly dumb from a team standpoint and shockingly tone deaf with regards to Minnesota fandom, the Vikings execs have a LOOOONG way to go to even get in the ballpart of Timberwolves jackassery. A LOOOONG way to go.
I guess you are right that McHale & Co. are the true champions in this sort of thing. Favre's at least a Hall of Fame player. Joe Smith is as average as his name.
