School Open House

Tonight was the Open House for Nick's school. We got to meet his new teacher, Ms. Holmgren, and check out his new classroom. Pretty exciting stuff.

After the Open House, Nick had soccer practice. This is the first year where he has separate practices and games. Practice is Thursday night, games are Saturday morning. We were impressed that he managed to stay on his feet more this year. When he first started soccer two years ago, he would hit the ground about 20 times per game. Mainly because he thought it was fun. A little because he was clumsy. (Don't know where he gets that! :-))

Now we are home. The kids are getting cleaned up and I'm sitting here in the library enjoying the view of the newly repaired Al Franken signs across the street.
