In Madison

Turns out that I am not offline after all. After a trip through about half a dozen road construction zones, we finally arrived here in lovely Madison.

We are staying at the historic Edgewater Hotel in downtown Madison, near the state capitol and UW-Madison campus. The trip has gotten off to a good start. Allison asked the hotel for the government rate and we ended up being upgraded to a two bedroom lakeside suite at a lower rate than she was expecting to pay. It's an older hotel, but it is nice.

After arriving, we wandered around State Street and had dinner at Pizzeria Uno. It's no George's, but it was good. After dinner we found a map for Nick and he started to learn the basics of navigation.

Now the boys are in bed and we're hanging out watching TV. Just like home.
